Les femmes Ouled Naïl, mythe ou réalité

The IMA celebrates the work of artist Étienne Dinet in Bou Saâda, artists' haven! The program includes a weaving masterclass with Khadija Seddiki, a roundtable discussion on “Ouled Naïl women, myth or reality”, a musical and poetic interlude and a presentation of traditional Bou Saâda costumes. A festive day, which will conclude with a tasting of local products.

Silvia Naef, Barkahoum Ferhati, and Malika Dorbani-Bouabdellah, with the participation of Nassira Seddi will join a roundtable and will decipher Dinet's messages in three works: “La danse des foulards” (1910), “Deux baigneuses” (1911) and “Le départ du conscrit” (1915).
